Yesterday, St. Patrick’s day, you didn’t have to be wearing green to come into the gallery or to visit Bush House. We had an amazing Open House, with what seemed like 5 BILLION visitors through the gallery and the house. Our Young Artists Show is a huge success, with fantastic art by the more youthful in our community. There were cookies and juice and activities and much more. Pics to follow, I’m sure.
BUT… in Bush House we had THOUSANDS of visitors who “oohed and aahed” their way through the wonderful old home, nodding a “Hello” to old Mr. Bush as they filed past his portraits. Among other things, visitors got to see a Japanese exhibit and some personally painted china crafted by our own Eugenia Bush. WOW! What a fun Saturday!
