JENNIE J. CASTLE | In The Yard
FOCUS GALLERY | MARCH 1-31
OPENING RECEPTION: MARCH 2 FROM 5:30 -7:30 p.m.
February Artist in Residence, Jennie J. Castle is using printmaking and photographic techniques to describe experiences of girlhood. With cyanotypes, pigments and rubbings, she explores childhood memories and creates layered objects for an installation in the SAA Focus Gallery, opening March 1, 2024. This multimedia approach is a departure from her past utilization of documentary style photography, and aims to embrace the instinctive nature of youthful art making.
