Rosalynn Rothstein: Ikebana

July 25-31
The Annex at the Bush Barn Art Center | 600 Mission St. SE Salem

Oregon artist Rosalynn Rothstein will be creating an Ikebana installation in the Annex at the Bush Barn Art Center in Salem. Ikebana is the Japanese art form of floral arrangements. With ten years of study in the Sogetsu school, Rosalynn will be using this opportunity to expand her Ikebana practice. Her intent is to create a large-scale installation, something which is not often done outside of Japan. Rosalynn holds an MA in Folklore from University of Oregon, and a BA in Comparative Literature from Grinnell College. Her art has been shown widely throughout Oregon.

Salem Art Association exhibitions are always free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday from 10 am-5 pm, and Saturday-Sunday from Noon-5 pm.
