To actively engage the community in the appreciation of the arts through contemporary art exhibitions and events, arts education for youth and adults, and the preservation and interpretation of our shared cultural heritage.

Opportunities include positions in administration, curatorial, development, education, marketing & graphic design, museum services, special events and other professional areas. Available positions may require a variety of levels of training, education and experience.

The Salem Art Association seeks a talented individual with a passion for Salem’s local arts community to fill the Director of Special Events and Development position. This position oversees the planning and execution of all Salem Art Association fundraising events, as well as helping to drive sponsorship, donations and membership.
