SALEM’S SPRING BREAK PASSPORT TO FUN

SALEM’S SPRING BREAK PASSPORT TO FUN

March 23 – 28, 2026

Salem Art Association is in collaboration with Seven downtown locations have joined together to create this year’s “Spring Break Passport to Fun,” which offers families free, or discounted activities for the family during spring break week, March 23 to 28.

Stop by the Bush Barn Art Center where this year we have prepared a short scavenger hunt for you! At the Bush Barn Art Center we encourage visitors to engage with the art.
The kids are invited to roam the gallery spaces, searching for “hidden treasures.” For older students we have
a more in depth study of a chosen piece of art which asks them to interpret
the artist’s ideas and examine their individual response to what they see.

We hope your family will enjoy the galleries including the Young Artists’ Showcase and collect your passport stamp.

Admission is always FREE and we can’t wait to see you.

Participating locations and about the passport

The City of Salem Library, Deepwood Museum, Hallie Ford Museum of Art, the Oregon State Capitol, Salem Art Association, State Capitol State Park, Willamette Heritage Center, and World Beat Gallery have teamed up to offer families a fun and free, or discounted, way to fill the week off school with activities.

The passport is free and available to download here. Operating days and times for each
location are listed on the passport, as well as the activities offered. Passport stamps will be given at each location after the activity is completed. After five of the eight stamps have been gathered, children can enter to win one of three prize baskets at any of the participating locations.

The presenting sponsor for this annual event is the Oregon State Capitol Foundation, a
