Diane Jacobs: WAKE
October 3-30, 2019
Reception & Artist Talk: October 12, 2019 | 5:00 – 8:00 PM
WAKE is an installation that examines the intersection between settler colonialism, climate change, women’s rights, and racism. Jacobs uses a variety of materials to challenge us to feel the physical, intellectual, and spiritual complexity of our times. We need to know our history, heal, and cultivate a relationship to the land, including all of her inhabitants.
