ABOUT THE ARTIST.
My name is Tanya. I am originally from Ukraine now living in the Pacific Northwest. I am an oil artist and enjoy painting portraits, plein-air, and figurative. I have taken classes from world renowned artists Max Ginsburg, Camille Przewodek, Ned Mueller, and others.

I specialize in portraits, focusing on capturing not just the likeness of a person but also expressing their unique personality. There’s a deep sense of joy for me when people see themselves reflected authentically in a painting. Over time, my artistic journey has led me to become focused by the beauty in the world around us. I believe that beauty exists everywhere, and art is simply the medium through which we can capture and appreciate it.
