Opening Reception & Artists Talk April 3, 2026 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
An exhibit exploring responsibility, belonging, and change– Naomi brings together their backgrounds in immigration justice and place-based craft to ask big questions through inkwork and illuminated human-form lanterns. MARCH ARTIST-IN RESIDENT
March 2 – 30, 2026 | Annex Studio
Brown Bag Lunch with March Artist-in-Resident Naomi
Join Naomi Halpern on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. in the Annex Studio for an informal and welcoming gathering offering a rare look inside their creative process.
As part of their current artist-in-residence program, Naomi will open their studio to share works in progress, materials, and the evolving ideas shaping the pieces they are creating this month. The work developed during this residency will be featured in their April exhibition in the Focus Gallery, offering guests a meaningful preview of what’s to come.
This is a brown bag lunch event, so guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch and settle in for an engaging midday conversation. Naomi will share about their process and influences, and there will be time for questions and open dialogue. Whether you’re familiar with their work or discovering it for the first time, this is a chance to connect directly with the artist.
