Each week is different and offers high-quality opportunities for youth to learn about Art and Art History in a nurturing environment at the Salem Art Association (SAA). All camps take place at the Bush Barn Art Center & Annex in Salem's Bush's Pasture Park.

Monday 7/15 - Friday 7/19: The Earth Aquatic
Monday 7/22 - Friday 7/26: Making Myths
Monday 8/5 - Friday 8/9: Deep Space
Monday 8/12 - Friday 8/16: Dinosaurs!

Each week has two sessions: the morning session is for kids 8-10 years old and will last from 9 a.m. to noon. Afternoon sessions are for kids 11-13 years old and run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Summer Celebration Party

Saturday, July 20, 7:00- 9:00 pm

Want to spend a summer evening with live music, art, wine, desserts and lots of friends? This is a fun indoor/outdoor event with live music from the wonderful bluegrass trio Tuesday String Band. Be sure to wear your dancin’ shoes!

Your ticket includes desserts, wine tastings, musical entertainment and time to chit chat with friends, artists and art lovers.

Come learn something you didn’t know about Drag! Featuring performances in the exhibition space on July 26, August 9, and August 23 and focused interviews that highlight local drag artists’ individual paths to becoming a drag professional. Join us this summer to learn from many community members who contributed their vision and inspiration to produce this stunning exhibition.
