Summer Celebration Party

Join us for a festive evening of art, music, wine tastings and desserts under the summer light! We are having a garden party and encourage you to dress in accents of purple and yellow.

This is a fun indoor/outdoor event with live music from the wonderful bluegrass trio Tuesday String Band.

Nikesha Breeze is an international artist working across a diverse range of media whose innovative approach has garnered national and international acclaim. Her practice calls upon ancestral memory and archival resurrection to revive stories long erased from the global narrative, engaging deeply with themes of grief, sanctuary, power and presence, visibility, and erasure.

RADIANT FIGURES | LILY ROTH

JULY 11 – 26, 2025 | FOCUS GALLERY

Lily Roth is a painter from rural Oregon, where she also teaches high school art. Drawing from people who have shaped her life, her work explores the human figure as a means of storytelling—capturing shared emotions and the diverse paths of human experience. Roth’s practice reflects a deep curiosity about how we see, feel, and relate to one another.

SUMMER ART CAMPS! | FIVE SESSIONS!

Each week is different and offers high-quality opportunities for youth to learn about Art and Art History in a nurturing environment at the Salem Art Association (SAA). All camps take place at the Bush Barn Art Center & Annex in Salem's Bush's Pasture Park.

6/23 – 6/27 ~ Theme: Pacific Ocean
7/7 – 7/11 ~ Theme: Oregon Coast
7/21 – 7/25 ~ Weekly art theme: Oregon Wetlands
7/28 – 8/1 ~ Theme: Pacific NW Forests
8/11 – 8/15 ~ Theme: Cascade Mountains
8/18 – 8/22 ~ Theme: Oregon Desert

Each week has two sessions: the morning session is for kids 8-10 years old and will last from 9 a.m. to noon. Afternoon sessions are for kids 11-13 years old and run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
